I actually almost had an awesome picture of him right as he took off but I was zoomed in too far and only caught a glimpse of him...so this picture is a few seconds later it's the only picture I ended up getting of him flying. He got pretty far super fast! It was really cool though when he took off you could hear the woosh woosh sound from his wings! (I think that's the sound birds wings make lol)
We've also had a bunch of geese hanging out lately, however today the eagle scared them off too! We actually walked right past a fox a little while ago as well...who knew so many critters lived on the golf course!
This little black baby Nigerian Dwarf goat is the one I want! Isn't he cute!! Look at that little face!
Plus this little goat looks just like my dog Odie, he'll blend right in with the pups! The neighbors won't suspect a thing! 
Me and Zach finally took our Concealed Firearms Permit class today! It was so awesome! So if any of you are interested in getting your CFP here's the link to the one we went to. www.cfpofutah.com Dex Taylor, a Logan city police officer is the certified instructor who teaches the class. He makes it really fun and educational, and a huge bonus is that they take care of everything during the class; fingerprinting, photo, copy of drivers license, notary stamp, and even help you fill out all of the paperwork. So basically once the class is over all you have to do is put a stamp on your envelope and stick it in the mail. After the class you also have the option to go to the gun range and practice. Dex teaches these classes all the way from Logan down to St. George. Anyway I highly recommend taking this course and if any of you have any questions about it I would love to answer them for you! This was the view from our back porch this morning...love it!

Zach totally suprised me today with something I've been wanting...A Gingerbread House Kit! (I don't have time to do it any other way, I needed the kit) Here's the beginning stage of my house, I was kind of suprised that it was actually standing at this point.

for those who didn't know last friday was tara's birthday...so if you haven't mailed her birthday card yet...you might want to get on that. I know what you're thinking and yes that happens to be a birthday pie not a birthday cake and if you can't tell by the picture she was very excited about it. I hope she let's me blog on here more after posting that picture.So this is the 2nd armed robbery in the last six months right next door to our store...scary!! Here's the story:
ST. GEORGE - St. George Police on Sunday were seeking two Hispanic males in connection with the armed robbery of an Hispanic market at 439 N. Bluff St. around 7:30 p.m.
Sgt. Gilman of the police department said the two men entered the market with a gun and demanded money. The robbery victims refused to give them the money and were tied up with duct tape. The robbers took the money from the store and fled. One of the victims managed to get loose from the duct tape and looked out in time to see an older, blue, 2-door sedan pulling away. Gilman said it's not certain that the car contained the robbers but it is being sought by police.
The only description of the men are that they are Hispanic and one was dressed in a white shirt and black pants. The weapon was described by the victims only as a "big gun." Gilman said the suspects are considered armed and dangerous. The investigation is continuing.

So our friends Jackie, Todd & their two little rugrats decided to properly welcome us into the neighborhood...by the way payback is comin... Sorry the pictures aren't very good, we cleaned it up in the middle of the night before the sprinklers came on! lol But I have to say they did an excellent job, we do have an ideal yard for toilet papering!
